A word from our director - Martin Howlin MBE
UK Tactical Solutions Ltd was established to support the development of modern, high-quality equipment for the defence and security sectors through expert design, advanced manufacturing, and collaborative consultancy.
Our journey began in 2018 with the launch of Spectre Military Equipment Ltd, developing innovative products for military personnel. As demand grew, so did the range, evolving into a broader portfolio built using advanced materials and manufacturing techniques, including injection moulding, thermoplastics, and performance laminates.
After leaving military service in 2022, our founder, Martin, identified a gap within the defence industry: the need for accessible, high-end design and manufacturing capability to bring ideas from concept to scalable production.
UK Tactical Solutions was created to meet that need, providing a dedicated environment for the development, prototyping, and manufacture of tactical and law enforcement equipment. While Spectre continues to expand its own range, UKTS enables others to do the same.
Today, we remain committed to supporting innovation across the defence and security landscape—working closely with military, law enforcement, and security professionals to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions built for real-world operations.
